PUERTO MORELOS
The easygoing, relaxed port town of Puerto Morelos is one of the Mexican-Caribbean coastline’s less touristic, and understated destinations. This once-sleepy fishing village has become a favored location for visitors looking for a quiet seaside town to enjoy a peaceful vacation with a selection of activities available. Located between the lively cities of Cancun and Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos has a splendid stretch of white sand beach, just off the town square, on the beach side of the town, Puerto Morelos Puerto. Across the highway, Puerto Morelos Pueblo is close to lush jungle and La Ruta de Cenotes … providing endless exploration and adventure opportunities. However, overall Puerto Morelos has a mellow vibe compared to its neighboring cities. A visit to Puerto Morelos is ideal for those looking for a more cultural and laidback vacation, with the opportunity to enjoy fun activities.
